Per My Last Recipe is a recipe blog written by a home cook in Washington, DC. This page explains, in plain language, what information the site handles and what it does with it. Questions: permylastrecipe@gmail.com.

What we collect

This is a static website with no user accounts, no comments, and no forms. We do not ask visitors for personal information, and we do not sell, rent, or trade anyone's information — ever.

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes basic technical information when you load a page — things like your IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested — in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply.

Cookies and analytics

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly essential cookies needed for security and delivery. If we add analytics, it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-respecting and cookieless, counting visits in aggregate without tracking individual visitors — and this page will be updated when it is switched on. We also use Google Search Console, which shows us aggregate reports about how the site appears in Google search; it does not track visitors on this site.

Pinterest and our API use

Our use of the Pinterest API is limited to our own Pinterest account (Per My Last Recipe): reading our own boards and pins for editorial planning, and publishing pins that link to recipes on this site. We do not use the Pinterest API to collect information about other Pinterest users.

Your choices

The only personal information we hold about a visitor is email they have sent us. If you would like us to delete an email you sent, write to the address above and we will.

Links and share buttons

Recipes here may link to other websites, and the share buttons send you to social platforms (such as Pinterest, Instagram, and Threads). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Children

This site is a general-audience food blog and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
