The lemonade is the corpus minimalist: the shortest intro on the site, ungrouped ingredients, and in v1 a plain gradient for a photo. It keeps the short intro — short pages have to exist, or the wiring only ever gets tested on long ones — but it gets a real story this time, and a real photo: berry drinks, borrowed from the web, standing in for lemonade with the confidence of a understudy who knows the lead is fictional anyway.

What the lemonade proves is mostly negative space: that a page with a tiny intro still gets its signature, its card, its callout, its pin — the whole furniture of a post, arranged around four honest paragraphs. Blogs live on posts like this. Not every recipe is a layer cake. Some are a pitcher of lemonade, and the site has to love them exactly as much.
Make it when the day is hot and the lemons are cheap. That is the entire marketing plan, and it has never once failed.
